Step 2: Measure and Mark Guidelines

Carefully measure the area where the panels will be installed to determine the required layout. Using a level, draw straight vertical or horizontal guidelines on the wall to help keep each panel aligned. Taking the time to mark accurate reference lines will ensure a precise, professional-looking installation.

Step 3: Cut and Position the First Panel

Trim the first panel to the desired height using a miter saw equipped with a fine finishing blade for clean edges. Apply a thin, even bead of panel or construction adhesive approximately 1 inch (2.54 cm) from all edges and along the center of the panel. Carefully position the panel onto the wall, aligning it with your guidelines, and ensure it is perfectly straight and level before securing.

Final Step: Secure and Interlock Panels

Using a headless nail gun with 18-gauge finishing nails, secure the panel firmly to the wall. Place nails along the edges and key support points to ensure stability. Align the next panel and slide it into the first, allowing the panels to interlock seamlessly.
